I feel bad for the kid, and if there was a way to send him some money, like through PayPal or something, I'd do it. One thing you don't do is smash a Xmas dream to bits like that, and it was completely smash-fucking-shattered.
that kid will NEVER forget what that moment was like - and then to be humiliated - just horrible. i will never ever do that to my kids. that's a joke you play on an adult.

Sirreene, no he didn't get one from his family. The video is legit, no 360.
There are several write ups about this on the net, all confirming he got no 360 for Xmas. BUT, because of that video, either Bungie or MS is hooking him up with one. So that's pretty sweet.
