I consider my house haunted, so believe it or not you get used to it. I know it sounds strange, but you do. The more sounds you hear, things you see and experience it just becomes normal, you just learn to ignore it. Although every once in a while something happens, it's dark, you're home alone and it scares the shit out of ya!
I do believe in it. I went to the Biltmore in Clearwater (I had blogged about it) and if you ever get the chance you should go on one of the ghost tours if you make it down this way. Pretty eerie. They explain the different types of ghosts and that imaginary friends are really not that imaginary.
