I need more context to pass final judgement, but I really have to wonder if people think about what they say. Part of the complaint was that she was tasered in a public location.

Yeah, because someone you're going to tase is going to listen to a request to go to a location a little more private to be electrically shocked.

"Miss, I'm going to put a bit of electric current through your body, making you convulse, because you are out of control right now. Would you mind stepping into this office over here so I could spare you the embarrassment of acting like a spaz? No? Okay, then let me just put this taser back in the holster. Carry on."

Maybe if her mama used a little bit more discipline at home, those bad guys in blue wouldn't have to do her job for her. It sounds a bit extreme but it seems someone needed to do it. As for it being done in a public place....would her mom have been ok if it were done when so many people were not looking?

Do some searching and you'll see this is common in the state of Ohio.

The last one I remember hearing about on the local news was a kid, out of control, on a school bus, who had to be removed 'by force' with a stun gun.

Give a cop a toy and they just have fun with it!

I'm not shocked at all by this.....

Not shocked? Well, I am - it's fucking disgusting. If I was the girl's father I'd have those cops balls. With a hunting knife.
